Notes for Margaret Annette Townsend
Married 28 February 1935 at Christ Church, Eston, Cleveland. Charles Blow was the only son of Charles Blow of Longbenton, Northumberland. Margaret wore her great-grandmother's (1) veil at the wedding.
Margaret and Charles were living in Gosforth in 1948 but divorecd in about 1963. The London Gazette of 18 December 1964 records that Margaret changed her name back to Townsend by deed poll Following this she lived in Windermere, Cumberland before moving to Darlington, Co Durham where she died.
Of the children: Frances Blow was born in 1936 and Charles Blow was born in 1942.
