Married 20 February 1873. Rev Thomas Allin (1) son of Thomas Allin, of Avoncore, Midleton, Co. Cork by his wife, Isabella Dorinda, daughter of Thomas Sealy, of Ballylough, Co. Cork. Judge John FitzHenry Townshend [250] shows him as William Allen and the marriage as 1878.
Page 5 of The Calendar of Wills and Administration 1858-1922 in the National Archives of Ireland records "The Reverend Thomas Allin late of Chelston Mount Huxtable Hill Chelston Torquay County Devon Clerk who died 4 March 1909”. Probate granted at London 14 May 1909 to John Wheeler. Resealed at Dublin on 26 July 1909. Effects in Ireland £3 4s 0d.
(1) Thomas is listed on page 297 of Reverend John Harding Cole's Church and Parish Records of the United Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross 1863-1903. - "Thomas Allin is T.C.D., B.A., 1859. Was ordained Deacon, 1864, at Cork, and Priest, 1866, at Ossory. Was Curate of Lickmolassy, Co. Galway, 1864-S; of Finagh, Co. Carlow, 186S-6; of Castrachore (Midleton), Co. Cork, 1870-74 ; of Myross, Ross, 1874-77, when he left the diocese and went to England." Thomas published a treatise, entitled, "Universalism Asserted, on the Authority of Reason, the Fathers, and Holy Scripture."
