Notes for Samuel Richard Trelawney Townsend
Samuel was educated at Dean Close School, Cheltenham and Monkton Combe School before attending Usk College where he qualified in agriculture.
He spent his whole life at The Old Rectory, Llanvapley which, with his sister Daisy Townsend [681], he developed as a market garden.
Samuel is buried in the churchyard at St Mabli's Church, Llanvapley, where his father was the Rector before he died. (1)
