Notes for Jane Townsend
Jane was born in about 1804.
In his memoir her brother Edward Hume Townsend [628] records that " Once my parents took me and my little sister Jane to my grandfather's house in County Donegal - Glenalla. My only recollection of this visit is that of seeing my little sister sick near the fire in a bedroom.....My little sister died about this time."
