William Maynard and Oliver Stokes (husband of Joanna Crewe Chetwood Townsend [6B27] were executors of the will of Elizabeth and Joanna's mother. Page 751 of The Calendar of Wills and Administration 1858-1922 in the National Archives of Ireland records that Probate of the will of "Frances Dorothea Townsend Late of Wood Lynch Fleet Southampton Widow”, who died on 7 February 1917, was granted at London 17 April 1917 to "Temple W Maynard and Oliver S Stokes". Resealed in Dublin 16 May 1917. Effects in Ireland £3,248 14s 6d.
