Notes for Elizabeth Townsend (Bessy)
Elizabeth was born in Nottingham Place, London and her birth is registered in Marylebone.
In a letter (1) dated 18 August 1821 to his father, Chambre Corker Townsend [5D01] writes that he met Mrs Horace Townsend [607] and her daughter Bessy - 'a very nice little girl'.
Bessy died of consumption in Brighton and is interred there.
