Married 12 January 1893 at Aghada, Co Cork by the Bishop of Cork assisted by the groom's father. Rowland was the son of the Very Rev Dean of Cloyne, Rowland Griffith Vaughton (now Vaughton Dymock).
At the time of their Golden Wedding in 1943 Alice and Rowland were living at 21 Sion Hill, Bath.
