Married 15 December, 1859 at Aghada, Co Cork. Rev Thomas Wakeham, Rector of Dromdaleague, Co Cork.
The death of Katherine was recorded by Agnes Townsend  in her diary - '1893 22nd April Mrs Wakeham died'.
Thomas Wakeham was born at Youghal on 17 February 1819, the second youngest son of Rev Thomas Wakeham. He entered Trinity College, Dublin, in 1836 and obtained a University Scholarship in 1840. BA 1842. Ordained Deacon at Midleton 1847 and Priest 1848. Curate Ballymodan, Bandon, 1847-51; Curate Kilworth, Cloyne, 1851-53; Curate Rathcooney, Cork, 1853-56; Curate Fanlobbus (Dunmanway), 1856-67; Curate Kilbrogan, Bandon, 1867-72; Rector Clonfert, Cloyne, 1872-87. He resigned in May 1901 and retired. Thomas' biographical details can be seen on pages 45 and 46 in Reverend John Harding Cole's Church and Parish Records of the United Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross, covering the period 1863 to 1903 and published in 1903. They represent a supplementary volume to William Maziere Brady's earlier work.
Page 490 of The Calendar of Wills and Administration 1858-1922 in the National Archives of Ireland records that probate of the will of "The Reverend Thomas Wakeham late of Pust North County Limerick clerk", who died on 19 January 1904, was granted at Limerick on 1 March 1904 to Jane Wakeham Spinster. Effects £1,458 14s 9d.
