Notes for Victoria Heather Denny Townsend (Tiggy)
Married 16 September 2000 at St Swithun's Church, Bathford, Bath. Roderick James Nicholas Wiles was the only son of Nicholas Wiles of Ilketshall St Lawrence, Suffolk.
Tiggy was educated at Cranborne Chase School and St James's Secretarial College, London. Following this she worked as a secretary/PA in a number of companies during the period 1992-95 and spent two seasons running a ski chalet in France. After working for a Derivatives Broker in The City she was appointed Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive of an international property development company based in London.
In 2002 Tiggy and Rod gave up their jobs in London (Rod was working for the American Hardwood Export Council {AHEC}), sold their house and went to New Zealand for three months. On return, after a brief spell living in Micheldever, Hampshire, they moved to North Devon in March 2006. Rod set up a timber consultancy service offering expertise in market intelligence & analysis and the promotion of sustainable forest products. At the same time he re-etsblished his links with AHEC as a consultant. Meanwhile, Tiggy took up an appointment as Admissions Secretary at West Buckland School near South Molton. Four years later they moved to Singapore as this served as a more central base for Rod and his work with AHEC.
Their daughter Beatrice Heather Wiles was born on 13 May 2008.
