Nothing is known about Maria.
Married 1st in 1866. Nothing is known about William Lyster who died in 1876. Page 419 of The Calendar of Wills and Administration 1858-1922 in the National Archives of Ireland records that the will of "William Charles Lyster formerly of Kilkenny but late of Thomastown County Kilkenny", who died on 15 January 1876 at Thomastown, was proved at Kilkenny on 24 April 1876 by "the oath of Maria Lyster of The Rectory Innistiogne the sole Executrix”. Effects under £600. The Rectory at Innistiogne was the home of Maria's father.
Married 2nd ante 1911. JF Devereux of Rockland House, Co Wexford. U.H. Hussey de Burgh's ‘Landowners of Ireland 1878' records "Devereux John F. Wexford. 396 acres. £1235." However he is not shown in ‘Slater’s Royal National Directory of Ireland, 1894’.
The 1911 Irish Census of Ireland shows Maria was living in her brother's house at 11 Westbourne Terrace, Queenstown on 2 April of that year. Her niece, Kathleen Townsend [5A15] and nephew's wife, Ethel Mary Townsend [5A10], were living there at the same time.
