The 1911 Irish Census records that Eveline, aged 5 months, was living at Derry, Rosscarbery, Co Cork, with her parents, her two sisters, two children’s nurses, a ladies maid, cook and three domestic servants. Derry consisted of 22 rooms, 11 stables, a coach house, a harness room and a further 22 outbuildings.
Nothing further is known about Eveline except details of a bankruptcy case published in the London Gazette (1) which show her living at Downash Farm, Flimwell, near Hawkhurst, Kent. Her occupation was listed as 'Farmer'.
Burke's Irish Family Records 1976 show Eveline living at Prior Park College, Bath. She died in England and is buried at Brade Church, Myross Wood, and the inscription on her headstone reads “SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF EVLINE MARY CURZON TOWNSHEND.
