Hi,
I wondered if the Coriolis effect's perturbative treatment was added in v7.1 or earlier. While the changelogs do not explicitly mention this addition, it has appeared in the docs with the latest update. Moreover, it hasn't been made clear in the docs whether the Coriolis force effects are applied as a post-calculation correction by GYRE or must be applied by the user.

I would greatly appreciate any clarification on this. Thanks )

The ability to calculate the first-order effects of the Coriolis force has been in GYRE since at least v6.0. The domega_rot output item gives the (additive) correction that the user can apply (via post-processing) to the calculated dimensionless frequencies: omega -> omega + domega_rot.

The treatment of the Coriolis force via the traditional approximation of rotation (TAR) has also been in GYRE for some time. However, in contrast to the perturbative approach, the dimensionless frequencies reported when the TAR is enabled are already corrected for rotation -- no post-processing is needed.
