Re: Double meshpoints causing error?
Hi Rich Thanks for your help in figuring out the problem, I guess I'll upgrade soon. Just to let you know, by setting "add_atmosphere_to_pulse_data" to false, the models that previously resulted in errors now seem to run correctly. The GYRE model and MESA profile have the same amount of grind points...

Re: Double meshpoints causing error?
Hi Rich
Apparently, add_atmosphere is set to true internally, which explains the extra points in the surface layers.
Maybe I should set it to false for the post-MS models.
Best regards
Mathias

Re: Double meshpoints causing error?
Hi Rich I also noticed it myself just now. The inlists I send you should be the ones used to produce the MESA profile and GYRE model. I think the difference might be due to some extra options in the "run_star_extras" , but there are some methods used which are defined in other files, which I don't h...

Re: Double meshpoints causing error?
Dear Rich
The model file (4.6MB) is apparently too large to add as an attachement, even if I split the file and compress it (resulting in a file of about 0.6MB), I still get the error message "File too large".
Best regards
Mathias

Double meshpoints causing error?
Dear Rich Using GYRE5.0 I get the following error message: ASSERT 'ALL(x(2:) > x(:SIZE(x)-1))' failed at line 20 <gyre_r_interp:r_interp_t_>: Non-monotonic abscissa I guess this is because of the double meshpoints in the pulse info files from MESA. I'm using MESA8845, with "add_double_points_to_puls...

mode output GYRE 5.0
Dear Rich
Does GYRE 5.0 still have the option to return the "normalized rotation kernel" (parameter "K") in the output mode files?
GYRE 4.4 had this option, but version 5.0 doesn't seem to have this parameter. Did you maybe remove this feature on purpose?
Best regards

small bug in GYRE 5.0
Dear Rich
While digging around in GYRE 5.0, I noticed a bug in "gyre/src/build/gyre_grid_par.f90".
In line 100, the namelist contains two times "x_i", but doesn't contain "x_o".
Best regards
Mathias
