WEB TROUBLE HELP

If you are having trouble accessing the articles posted through this web page, first make sure that you are logged in and running a browser session to a computer within the .wisc.edu domain with your student user account.

Another item to check is whether you have the Adobe Acrobat reader loaded on your machine. The newspaper files are in "pdf" format, which requires Adobe Acrobat. However, the Adobe Acrobat reader is freeware, and you can download it onto Macs, Windows, or unix/linux plotforms. Click here to go to the Adobe Acrobat reader download site.

If you are trying to download the articles from home or elsewhere off campus one solution is to first download the WiscVPN client. After installing this and putting in your net id/password, it will enable you to connect any computer to the UW network. Download the software appropriate for your platform:

This software is supported by the DoIT helpdesk. Credit and thanks to DoIT helpdesk staff (taking this course!) for supplying this information.
