 A survival guide on how to navigate your career as a scientist, starting from graduate school level to being a tenured professor. The advice may not be as detailed as other books but its great value is the stratigic thinking.  

 A comprehensive guide on many key skills to succeed in graduate school, including how to prepare meetings with your advisor, reading, project designing, writing, presentations, and networking at conferences.     

 
We frequently hear that asking a good question is essential for starting a good project. But how to ask a good question? There seems to be numerous choices of questions. Some questions are too broad to be workable, while some too narrow to be significant. This book offers practical advice on how to find a good question for research.
